About WollConnect

Who is behind WollConnect

WollConnect is remote support software built where it is used: in the daily work of an IT service provider. Nothing on this page is a statement of intent — it describes how the product is actually built and run.

Developed and operated in Germany

Development, operations and support are in Germany. Development is not outsourced, and there is no background operator whose terms end up applying instead of ours.

That is not a marketing point but a question of responsibility: whoever decides during an incident, and whoever answers a question about how your data is processed, is the same party.

A direct technical contact

Enquiries reach someone who knows the product — not a first line that forwards tickets. A technical question is answered by someone who has read the code.

For a service provider that is the difference between a query settled the same day and one that spends a week working its way through escalation levels.

A German cloud location

The managed cloud runs in Germany. Session data travels through the relay rather than into intermediate storage, and the connection between viewer and agent is end-to-end encrypted — the relay never sees the screen content either.

The architecture is described in detail under Security.

Cloud and on-premises — the same software

You decide where the platform runs: as a managed cloud we look after, or entirely inside your own data centre.

The important part: these are not two products. Both are operated the same way, and switching means no retraining. The differences are set out under Cloud and On-premises.

Product development grounded in real MSP work

WollConnect was not designed on a whiteboard. Every feature traces back to a task that genuinely came up in operations: reaching a server with nobody in front of it. Seeing which updates are missing — Windows, Exchange and third-party software counted separately. Running a script across many devices without connecting to each one.

It also explains what is deliberately absent: features that look good on a comparison table but nobody touches in practice were never built.

Frequently asked questions

Where is the data processed?

The managed cloud runs in Germany. With on-premises, no session data leaves your network — more on that.

Can I talk to someone before buying?

Yes, and that is the usual route. Use the contact form and we will set up a trial account on request.
